Having shown for the first time at MIART in 2019, Taste Contemporary returned to the fair in 2021 with works by Laura Angell, Virginia Leonard and Zoe Lloyd.
Laura Angell’s multidisciplinary focuses on failure, status, success, and anxiety; exploring society’s psychological concerns and examining subject matter we may not want to talk about; secrets, lies, shame and fear. Virginia Leonard’s emotional, emotive and intensely personal ceramic works are largely powerful self-portraits while Zoe Lloyd offers an alternative order of things, that exist as imaginary and fragmented.
